House details

Ty Soberton is designed so as to provide separate access living quarters over the ground and first floors. This enables us to accommodate those with different needs and also to provide for a slightly different age range. We provide full residential care and support including the administration of medication, personal care, behavioural and emotional support.

On the ground floor there is a lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room and communal bathroom. One of the ground floor bedrooms has an en-suite toilet, the other has an en-suite wet room. All of our rooms are single occupancy rooms.

The first floor accommodation consists of two bedrooms with ensuite toilet, a bathroom and communal living space including a kitchen. Depending on the needs and staffing levels required for any adult or young person in residence there then it can be used for sole occupancy.

Individuals are encouraged to personalise their rooms to their own taste and have a say in how the rest of the home is decorated.
We encourage and empower those we support to be part of the community and to participate in as wide a range of activities as possible. This includes supporting them to access educational, social and leisure opportunities according to their needs, abilities and interests.

We encourage everyone to play their part in the running of the home, teaching those we support appropriate skills according to their age and level of ability – cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. We support individuals as far as possible to make their own choices and plan their own budgets.
