Ty Connie

Ty Connie is a detached, three bedroomed dormer bungalow located in the Fairwater area of Cardiff. The home has been renovated throughout to a high standard and designed to complement the needs of the individuals we serve.

As is the case with all our homes, Ty Connie is located in a residential area with a range of local amenities such as GP’s surgery, shops, post office. There are plenty of opportunities for community participation for individuals both in terms of leisure opportunities and learning. Individuals are supported to attend events and activities of their choice.

There is also easy access out to nearby parks and attractions such as St Fagan’s Museum and into Cardiff city centre.

The accommodation comprises of three large single bedrooms all of which are located on the ground floor. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished to reflect the individual’s needs and tastes. There is a shared wet room and separate toilet

There is a fully fitted, well equipped kitchen where individuals and staff prepare snacks and meals, and a separate utility room.  A comfortable lounge / dining room provides the focal point of the house, perfect to gather to chat, socialise, eat, watch TV or generally relax.

Ty Connie has been set-up to provide care and support to three individuals aged 18 and over with needs which can include varying levels of learning disability, mental health issues, autistic spectrum disorder, acquired brain injury, or alcohol related neurological disease
