Ty Mikail

Located in Whitchurch, a popular suburb of Cardiff, Ty Mikael caters for up to three children / young people. Ty Mikail is a semi-detached property which adjoins Ty Jibreel, which is also operated by Gofal Cymru Care as a children’s care home.

Ty Mikail is ideally situated to take advantage of all that the city centre, just a few miles away, has to offer, as well as affording easy access to the A470, the M4 and public transport for trips further afield. There are two railway stations within two miles and good bus links in the area.

Ty Jibreel

Ty Jibreel is one of two semi-detached properties located in the popular suburb of Whitchurch, both of which are under the management of Gofal Cymru Care. Ty Jibreel is able to provide 24-hour care and support for up to three children or young people. Where appropriate we seek to support the children in our care to work towards an increased quality of life, with a focus on a 24 hour curriculum, by linking in with schools and other services to increase continuity of care. This house has been renovated to a high standard and offers pleasant, airy living accommodation with spacious grounds. 

It is close to a variety of shops and facilities in Whitchurch and Llandaff North, and less than four miles from Cardiff City Centre.  There are two railway stations within two miles and a good public transport network operates in the area. There is easy access to the A470 and the M4 for trips further afield.

Ty Croeso

Located in the Gabalfa ward of Cardiff, close to the University Hospital of Wales, Ty Croeso offers residential care and support for up to 4 children between the ages of 12 and 18 with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder and / or mental health needs, including those with other medical conditions such as epilepsy and diabetes.
The house, which was set up in 2018, was fully renovated at that time and specifically designed with the needs of the individuals we support in mind. An extension was added in 2023 which increased capacity from 3 to 4 residents and saw improvements to the communal space.
Situated close to all local amenities the area is served by major bus routes and rail networks giving easy access to the city centre and to the countryside or coast beyond. The A470 and M4 are easily accessible. There are a large variety of local shops, eating places, and leisure facilities within walking distance.

Ty Soberton

Ty Soberton offers residential care and support for individuals aged 16 and over with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder and mental health needs. This may include those with additional medical conditions such as epilepsy and diabetes.
Located in a popular residential area of Cardiff, Ty Soberton was set up in 2016 to provide care and support for up to four individuals over two floors in the style of two separate flats.
Situated close to all local amenities the area is served by major bus routes and rail networks giving easy access to the city centre and to the countryside or coast beyond.
Within easy walking distance there is a large variety of local shops, restaurants, and leisure facilities including parks and gyms.

Ty Connie

Ty Connie is a detached, three bedroomed dormer bungalow located in the Fairwater area of Cardiff. The home has been renovated throughout to a high standard and designed to complement the needs of the individuals we serve.

Fairwater provides a range of shops, cafes, take aways and other local facilities within easy reach and there is easy access out to nearby parks and attractions such as St Fagan’s Museum and into Cardiff city centre thus increasing the opportunities for community participation for residents both in terms of leisure opportunities and learning.
Ty Connie has an excellent track record of rehabilitating individuals with acquired brain injury and enabling them to move on to a more independent lifestyle, as well as encouraging those who remain with us longer term to lead a fuller life in line with their interests and abilities.

Mariam House

Mariam House is an end terrace house, situated in a residential street at the heart of the community in Barry. The house is accessible from the street with a few low level steps leading to the front door to which a ramp could be added if required.
A short walk away is the main shopping area of Barry, and also the local leisure centre, which offers multiple facilities including a gym and a large swimming pool.
Barry is a coastal town so there are opportunities for seaside walks and to access all the facilities that the nearby resort at Barry Island offers.
There are good bus and train links and we encourage use of public transport where possible, although we do have our own vehicle for those unable to use public transport or who have further to travel to access planned activities or visits.

Rees House

Rees House is the sister home to Timothy House, which is situated on the opposite side of the street. It occupies two semi-detached properties and can accommodate a maximum of six individuals over the age of 17, two in one side, and four in the other.
The two properties are separated by a locked door, and each has its own communal facilities (living / dining area, kitchen etc) which allows us to accommodate individuals who would otherwise not be compatible.
Rees House provides residential care and support for those with varying levels of learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder and mental health needs. Some of the individuals there may present with complex health care needs and sometimes exhibit behaviours of concern.

Timothy House

Timothy House was the first care home we established in 2008 and it remains our flagship service. It is registered to accommodate six adults aged over 18 with a range of various learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues.
Located in the residential area of Danescourt on the outskirts of the city Timothy House is within very easy walking distance of local amenities such as shops, post office, doctor’s surgery, pubs and hairdressers. There are further community facilities in Llandaff which are easily accessed.
We are conveniently situated near the city centre with good, regular public transport links both into Cardiff and out to other areas. This increases the opportunities for community participation for residents both in terms of leisure opportunities and learning.
