Rees House operates under the same management umbrella as Timothy House which is located just across the street. We provide care and support for up to six adults aged 18 and over with varying levels of learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder and mental health needs.
Located on the Danescourt estate in the suburbs of Cardiff, Rees House enjoys the benefits of a GP surgery, post office, public house, hairdressers and shops all on its doorstep.
It is on a bus route which provides a regular service into the city centre and elsewhere, and good road links make coast and countryside easily accessible. Whilst we encourage use of public transport where possible, the needs of some of the residents at Rees House can make this difficult and so a company vehicle is available.
There are six single rooms, two on the ground and four on the first floor. The ground floor bedrooms each have an en suite toilet and shower facility, whilst upstairs there are two bathrooms and two wet rooms.
Rees House consists of two separate units with an interconnecting door. Each area has its own communal lounge, kitchen and dining areas.
At the rear of the house there is a spacious garden which provides room for outdoor eating and has a range of flower beds and boxes for growing vegetables.
