In 2014 I decided need a change of career, and started working as a Support Worker in Domiciliary Care in a role that I had never done before and loved every moment of it. With hard work I climbed the ladder and achieved my QCF5. In December 2016 I was offered the opportunity to join Gofal Cymru Care as a manager which I jumped at – and have never looked back, to be honest I was not sure I was cut out for this job but now that I am doing it I love every minute of my day at work – even the most trying ones.
I work with a fantastic team and every one of them brings something to the table which I appreciate.
Your life is your message to the world, make sure its inspiring

Rebecca Pugh (Team Leader - Timothy Rees House)
I then worked as a personal research assistant to a group of people with learning disabilities. We completed a three year research project entitled looking into abuse. This incorporated the views of people with learning disabilities.
I then worked as a senior support worker at supported living services. I worked with people with learning disabilities, mental health problems, challenging behaviour, drug and alcohol misuse and emotional difficulties.
It was following this job I came to Gofal Cymru Care as I wanted to broaden my horizons and progress. I have been with the company now for 10 months and am enjoying the role.
In my free time I enjoy visiting family, shopping trips and attending concerts with friends, even if this means travelling many miles!
